Our cabin is on 3.14 acres adjoining the U.S. Forest Service Lands at about 2200 feet above sea level on a private drive. It is a furnished 2 bedroom, 2 bath cabin with a full front porch and swing. People have found it to be a comfortable retreat. It has been designated an Appalachian Native Botanical Sanctuary.
We have pets of our own, so we are pet friendly. You may bring yours. However, we request that you have them current on shots and a flea/tick program. Although there are no leash laws here, it is recommended you use one on your pets, as it is a natural instinct for them to chase things. They can become easily lost or hurt. Additionally please don't tether your pet. If you need to leave them for a period, bring a crate and keep them in their crate until you return.
We are in an area with plenty of wildlife, including birds, rabbits, squirrels, and the like, so please keep the trash inside. We have local and long distance phone service, DSL, television/satellite/DVD/VCR player . We have movies on hand, or you can bring your own. We have books, puzzles and board games for your enjoyment.
Staying at our cabin should be quite pleasant.
Ameneties Central Heat and Air Conditioning Wood burning stove. Newly remodeled bathroom. Second bathroom addition is now finished!! Newly installed hardwood flooring in living/dining room. Linens are provided for bedrooms, kitchen, and baths. Queen size bed in both bedrooms, and queen sofa bed. Will accommodate up to 6. Full kitchen with microwave, dishwasher, dishes, cookware, utensils, toaster oven, coffee maker. Picnic table. Gas Grill. Pet friendly. TV/Satellite/DVD/VCR, Some movies on hand. Long distance and internet. Ceiling fans, covered porch with swing. New full size Maytag front load washer and dryer. NON-smoking environment.
Rate Structure
Year 'round rate is $85.00 per night. $510 per 7 night stay. Prices are plus 12% Tourism tax. For a single three night stay, rent for two consecutive nights and the third night is Half price. Single night rate is $95 plus taxes and fees.
While we are reluctant to increase fees, we find to ensure that you have a clean cabin upon arrival our cleaning fee must be increased to $50.00 to cover out-of-pocket expense. A Reservation deposit of $100.00 will be applied to the total rental. Pet fee of $15 per stay per pet, non refundable.
To confirm your reservation, we encourage a reservation deposit of $100 be made at least 14 days prior to stay. If your schedule is tight, contact us anyway. We will try to make it available. Payment for your entire stay is due prior to occupancy by cash,check, money order or Pay Pal. The deposit is credited at time of full payment. All checks must clear prior to stay. We accept Paypal, allowing you to pay via your credit card. Paypal is quick, secure and free to you as payor, so you don't have to relinquish your credit card number. Just click on the link below after making your reservation to take you directly to the Paypal website. Should you need to cancel your reservation, a full refund less the prevailing Pay Pal charge of your deposit will be made if you cancel at least 10 days prior to arrival date. No refund of deposit will be made if canceled with less than 10 day's notice.
We now are able to accept Mastercard and Visa upon your arrival. We do require a physical swipe of the card if you choose to use it.
